So I believe February 1st students can officially file to transfer schools legally. Any rumors about players transferring.

Realistically outside of moving or a consortium it doesn’t work like that lol Actually, the original poster is correct. MCPS has a "change of school assignment" window, referred to as the transfer season. It opens February 1st and closes April 2nd. Students/families can apply for COSAs during this time - the ability to transfer schools with MCPS approval without having changed residence to the desired school. More info on the MCPS website: MCPS Transfer SeasonNote: If a student is approved for a COSA, the student still must apply to the MCPS Athletics Office for an "athletic waiver" to participate in athletics at the new school. More info on the MCPS website: MCPS Athletic Waiver Process

They claim to have moved, and use an address that would send them to the school they "moved" to.

Yes NW is getting the Sherwood RB and his younger brother who is an O-Lineman. I believe they are getting a DB to from Sherwood. This will be his 3rd school in 4 years. He was with Magruder before transferring to Sherwood last year. It will be interesting to see if the move pays off for the RB. I don't see NW running the ball that much with those stud WR's they have. Does NW have any other lineman transferring in? Please, correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the majority of their line from this year graduates. High School football's transfer portal is becoming just like College. Might as well start NIL as well.
