Northwest rarely runs the ball especially with those stud WR's. Weird to see this happen. Elliott will play in the secondary I imagine. 3rd school in 4 years for him. Jalen will help a ton on the line. Van and Rivers will be a nice RB combo but again I can't imagine NW running it that much. And I don't know if they go undefeated. Pretty sure QO still has the best player in the county (maybe state) on their team. NW has to reload a ton on the lines on both sides of the ball. Van and Rivers definitely gonna be a deadly backfield combo…and people forget we still have other stud RBs ( Sidney Hairston and Jaden Clunis ) returning that will be in the mix…we also have young stud RBs ( isiah Taylor and Emet Choy ) coming up from JV who also played varsity last year too….Oline is gonna be straight we have 3 returning starters and now we have Mahoney too…pretty sure we will have more recruits on the Oline tho and Dline….Linebackers and DBs is loaded !!! Dual threat QB and Patient pocket QB returning who will both rotate…And our WRs best in the state this year…we will have more transfers coming in too it’s still early we’re only in February we got talent we always had talent but coaching is our problem every1 suspect except sackura and cpatt

He’s won State Championships everywhere he’s coached. Sachura and patt can’t say that.

Coach Clipper did a good job his first year on the job. Northwest had a tough 2022 under Travis Hawkins, and ever since Clipper got the job, the trajectory of the program has changed.

Yes NW is getting the Sherwood RB and his younger brother who is an O-Lineman. I believe they are getting a DB to from Sherwood. This will be his 3rd school in 4 years. He was with Magruder before transferring to Sherwood last year. It will be interesting to see if the move pays off for the RB. I don't see NW running the ball that much with those stud WR's they have. Does NW have any other lineman transferring in? Please, correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the majority of their line from this year graduates. High School football's transfer portal is becoming just like College. Might as well start NIL as well. nah we only graduated a couple starters on our Oline…we still have Chris Moore ( 6ft6 290 lbs and only a upcoming junior ) , Javen “ Big Baby “ Bailey ( 6ft3 320) , Isaac barkers ( 6ft5 285 ) , Juan Gayden ( 6ft5 290 ) and now Jaylin Mahoney ( 6ft3 270) on the offensive line

Will the state 4A become a two-team race now between transfer destination schools QO and NW? Or does Wise and Flowers still keep their transfers coming in? The new term is probably now Transfer Portal Schools whether they are operating ethically of not.

C 52 / G 72 /T 77 /T 50. Not saying they will not be good, I believe they will be very good. But they have to replace pretty much whole the OL from 2023.

As a QO fan I agree. Iverson is elite but he doesn’t play both ways

QO is always stacked with depth NW o-line has got to get meaner tougher and protect them QBs and establish a more balanced Offense with the run game also I see SV got a NW player
Also can we point out that NW dose t get nearly as many transfers or out of district players as QO and we have had plenty coaches yet we still play quality football and Coach Travis and his staff had them boys ready to run through a brick wall for them i could elaborate more but imma chill…….

What season was u watching last year…our Oline dominated QO and broadneck in the playoffs…those big name guys on QO were getting out physicalled by us…we simply lost to broadneck because of a bonehead play on offense that resulted in a pic 6
