No surprise here. Everybody knew he was the top choice if he wanted the position. Coach P will be missed but the program is in very good hands.

Do you think Coach Rapp will retain OC duty or turn it over to another while he manage the program?

He will keep OC. No doubt... if I'm not mistaken there's some rule that can only be implemented in certain circumstances which states that the head coach does not need to be an employee of the Board of Education which would apply to rapp

If I remember correctly, at one time that was the rule but they had a hard time finding enough qualified and willing coaches.

I hear Coach Rapp is the BIG-33 Maryland team offensive-coordinator. He will have his hands full as there doesn't appear to be much D-1 talent on the MD side.

Md D-1 divas just do not care to step up. I greatly respect the MD kids who are able and willing to play...as well as the step up coaches.
