All 3 of FredCo's opponents boast potent passing attacks. WVille @ HTown will be the game to watch imo

The MMA SD rematch is must watch TV and is most likely for the state championship. I think Walkersville is probably the 4th best team left in the 2A, but Iโm holding out hope for 2 FREDCO state champs.

City at Oakdale-Oakdale big. They are on a mission to Navy.
Northern at Linganore. Too close for comfort against Franklin for the Lancers. Forget the final score, although wow that was fun to watch. Lancers will have to run the ball better earlier. Linganore in a real barn burner. Lancers have their own agenda also at Navy.
Walkersville @ Huntingtown-The Lions in a close one, but if they run like they have been running the ball, the other team just won't have enough time to score. Opps, the Lion D is pretty good too!

That passing attack city has is insane. 3 receivers with 1k each and all 3 have P5 offers. If there is a team to beat Oakdale outside of Linganore, I think it is city. That passing game should keep them in it

That passing game should keep them in it The Bears would be insanely stupid to look past City, and they do have some very impressive athletes, but I don't think the numbers really tell the whole story. Yes, they've amassed something like 4,000+ passing yards but most of that came against pretty awful teams. When they've faced upper-tier opponents, like Dunbar and Mervo, they just haven't looked very good. If I was their coach, I'd go in with a strategy to focus on short, quick, passes and tempo because that's probably all they'll be able to get and they certainly have the athletes to make something like that work. It's just that their line isn't gonna be able to give the QB more than a 2 count with kids like Dom Nichols blitzing on every play. I don't know what advice to give them defensively. Watch-out for the trick plays? :-) Who knows, maybe it will end-up a high scoring affair. For what it's worth (which is not much at all) Massey gives Oakdale a 91% chance of winning. My guess is that it will end-up at around 42-21 Oakdale because that's been about average result every time they've played a generally solid team like City this year.

It was just 2 years ago the last time City made the trip down I-70 to exit 62. That City team had a 8-4 record, just like this year's squad. That City team got rolled over by Linganore, and I expect Oakdale to do the same this Friday, in the Bears' final stand on their home turf. Oakdale has enough speed to grind it out with teams like Frederick, MMA and City, and they have the muscle to square up with anyone else.

Two years ago was two years ago and has no bearing on your next game. Your post is very similar to posts made by the Damascus faithful back in 2010 when Wilde Lake came to town after Thanksgiving and stunned the Hornets. You can't assume that any opponent at this level is going to roll over for you.

What is it with you alligator rollers and the creepy obsession with Sid? Whenever a comment is made not praising the accomplishments of the great and powerful Fort Hill, one is called out as Sid, even from less than 10 new posters...... Weird FH cult!!!!
