For the sake of diversity from the lower county schools, 2016 Einstein JV was 7-1 and pretty dominant in all facets, and Whitman in 2017 and 2018 went 7-1 both years with really good, physically tough teams.

The Peary JV was 45-2-1 from 1968 through 1973. The 1968 team was 8-0 with 7 shutouts and only giving up 13 total points. The 1969 team went 8-0 giving up only 26 points. The 1972 team went 7-0-1, The 1973 Peary JV went 8-0 with 5 shutouts giving up only 18 points. They also defeated an undefeated Wheaton team to end the season. Coach Ken Brace whom later coached at Woodward, Wheaton, Watkins Mill, and Magruder was the head coach of those JV teams.
1968--8-0 1969--8-0 1970--7-1 1971--7-1 1972--7-0-1 1973--8-0

Their second of a back to back state championship run. if I recall correctly. that team was 9-0. the starting defense was not scored on the entire season and their closest game was a 24-0 win over Paint Branch in the rain. That jV team was stacked because the varsity was so good, there was only 3 underclassmen on that 96 state title team. Those kids went on to win 20 games on varsity over the next two seasons only losing to Seneca Valley (twice in the regular season and once in the state semis) and Suitland (in the state semis)

I played with Ken Brace's son (Keith) at Magruder. Great family...both of Ken's son's graduated from the Citadel. Keith went on to served in Iraq, and received the Purple Heart for wounds suffered in combat. Ken Brace is one of the old greats.
