Heath moved into 15th place on MPSSAA’s all-time single-season rushing yards list with 132 yards and two scores on 30 carries in the Bucs 14-7 win over Middletown last night. His two scores gives him 40 on the season, tying him for 8th place all-time, and his 39 rushing scores tied him for 7th all-time in a single season. Heath has gained 2,525 yards on the ground this season. Amazing season he's having... and he didn't play a single snap in the second half in 6 of the 5 games this year with a running clock at halftime and backups in for KI. He also has over 100 tackles on the season at LB as well. He is committed to Lehigh to play lacrosse as Goalie. He's a great kid to have on your team that's for sure. Agreed. I’ve noted his tackles and lacrosse scholarship. He, like a few kids, could have gotten more rushing yards, touchdowns, etc, if it weren’t for their team’s success. At the same time, he’s a workhorse, he’s had more carries than anyone else this year. QO’s Howard may not want (or need) 30 carries instead of his average of 11, but he’d probably take 20, and get 20, if the Cougars didn’t score every seven plays. To your point, Heath is a baller. I said this week, he ‘seeks out hostile situations’.
