Good coaching or player talent. Seems like Samuels just benefits from having the talent to coach rather than being able to coach up players himself. Did great at Churchill but once he realize all the senior talent that was leaving he high tailed it out of there to Northwest. Typical Redskin player when it gets to tough he leaves....

I posted this in the other thread.
His resume is pretty good for for a guy who has only been Coaching High School ball for 6yrs. 2011 Assistant at Blount HS in Alabama, 2015 Head Coach at Osbourne HS in VA, 2017 Offensive Coordinator at Churchill, 2019 Offensive Coordinator at NW. Outside of NW, none of those schools were/are great. But they all experienced some form of success while he was there.
And seriously, Coaches are allowed to make vertical moves just like any other job. Taking shots at him for that is a bad look.

seems like he has trouble staying at one school for long periods of time I don't like speaking on Coaches & players personal lives, but Ill make an exception in this case. Coach Samuels went back to get his degree at Alabama and was/is not a county employee in Manassas or MoCo. That can explain some most of his moves. Throw in the fact he is a commodity (NFL player who actually wants to coach HS football), he cannot be faulted for making moves when the opportunity presents itself.

Really have to be careful with judging others without full information. I don't know Samuels even though I met him once. But his entire career here he handled himself with nothing but class. I think he should be commended for coaching at the high school level. He clearly doesn't need the stipend. He gets the benefit of the doubt with me unless something concrete comes out against him proving otherwise.

Love seeing these guys that started playing a game as a kid still want to be around the game as an adult. No one should play football for scholarships or money, they should play it because they truely love it. Also, love seeing guys that made it big giving back to the game that took care of them and there families. The kids love having a guy like that pout into them and their futures as well.

Schools with limited talent and good coaching:
Rockville Einstein WJ Seneca
These teams all have limited talent and have excelled beyond expectations due to coaching..
Relax on Coach Samuels, he is doing the young men in that community a great service.

U know he played for one team in his career. I coached with Chris at Churchill and he was looking at leaving this year regardless. You sound like a hater.

Coaches leave at every level from youth to the pros for the exact same reason.

seems like he has trouble staying at one school for long periods of time He’s trying to build a resume quickly. Samuels moved from VA to MD, thus changing schools to Churchill. As well as moving from Alabama. And what what would he need to build his resume for? You really think hes coaching for that reason? C'mon man lmao. He could be coaching in the NFL tomorrow if he wanted to.
