On another note, I believe Chris Shaw has been compared to Jake Funk on this board and imo he certainly lived up to it, especially on his TD run. It'll be pretty scary facing him next year.

Damascus beat themselves tonight. I could have swore it was the QO defense lead by Bell and Cooper with 200+ total yds on offense that beat them

That being said, Dmass surprised me, they are a better team than I expected. As we all know, scrimmages can be very misleading and I just didn't know what we were going to have this year and I was glad to see more kids on the offensive side of the ball than what was seen at the scrimmages. This is why you can't judge scrimmages too much as some on this board like to do. The problem for a team like Dmass going up against bigger schools is we have to rely so much on 2 way players. Luckily it was on the cool side last night, our attrition could have been so much worse if the weather were like it was earlier in the week. Congrats to QO.

After boating a nations best 53 game win streak, when was the last time the Hornets started a season 0-2? They’ve lost their last three games in a row (I KNOW ROCKVILLE WAS A FOREFIET).. However Oakdale & QO we’re clearly better than DMass. How will this play on their seeding and future? The subject line of this thread should be changed to “verified trolling.” Damascus is the best 0-2 team you will ever see. They will finish 7-2, host a first round playoff game and then go on the road for round 2 - hopefully to S. Hagerstown

Why are people getting triggered over this question I have the same question. All he asked was how an 0-2 start will affect seeding.

I was at the game last night and was very impressed with a strength speed and power of both teams. I was surprised the score was 7 to 7 with three minutes left in the game. It was a testament to Quince Orchard that they kept pounding and grinding. Hats off to Damascus as they played a great game The worst play of the night was Damascus forgetting to pick up a kick off, allowing Quince Orchard to seal the deal with the third touchdown. There were way too many penalties on each team. I'll never sit and q o stands again, they play their music at an ungodly level!

You don't want the visitor stands on a crowded night either, the layout was created by a drunk engineer.

The music is typically not that loud, hopefully they bring it down in the coming weeks.

Yes he was. He was a great watch tonight. His hands are insanely violent for the high school level. I was very impressed. Just about anything run at him was blown up and the QO OL could barely get a finger on him at times. i was impressed I thought he looked good but I wouldn’t say dominant it didn’t seem like he took over the game I played on the line so I have a habit of watching there almost exclusively during games. #55 was unblockable. QO has a decent OL too and all their heads when going toe to toe with 55 were snapped back and discarded as if he was playing against a JV team. When he slid inside over the guard or center, he was in the backfield before the QO line could get out of their stances. Truly there wasn’t much else that kid could have done to affect the game. I’d say the hype is legit, I’ve never seen a high school player that plays with their hands like that.
